CrossFit Nittany Core Values

In each of our lobbies, there is a poster behind the front desk. Some of you may have noticed it – some of you haven’t. It’s the core values of our gym and they are well worth your time to read and take to heart as member of this living, breathing community. This is the fourth and final part in our multi-part series about our core values.

Core Value #4: LIVE WHOLEHEARTEDLY

Another way to think of this is vitality. Vitality means living at the best balance between work, rest, play, and nourishment. This balance looks different for everyone.

WHERE DO YOU NEED MORE BALANCE? ARE YOU TOO FOCUSED ON ONE ASPECT OF YOUR LIFE? HOW IS THAT HURTING YOU?

When we are balanced, we can live our best life. This allows us to be support for those around us. We have all had times when we were out of balance and we couldn’t support those closest to us, maybe we couldn’t even support ourselves. During that time, other probably helped us. Why? Because we are stronger together – during a workout, at work, at home. Humans are a social species and innately need one another to survive so why not embrace it? The CrossFit Nittany community gives us a chance to survive and thrive.

Whole hearted vitality gives us the chance to experience our lives to the fullest. To be a better version of ourselves. Because, really, isn’t that why we are all at CrossFit Nittany – to be a better version of ourselves?
